Fynater helps you understand your investments, savings, property, and debt in one place. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run the product.

What we collect

• Account — your email and authentication details (via Supabase Auth or Google sign-in).
• Financial data you add — holdings, account names, net-worth assets, and any optional note you write about your finances.
• Usage — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How your data is protected

Sensitive details — account names, holding descriptions, the amounts in your portfolio and net worth, and your personal-finance note — are encrypted at rest using per-account keys. Our servers can read your data to compute your FynScore and generate AI insights (so this is encryption at rest, not end-to-end), but it is not stored in plain text.

AI features

Features like insights, research, the roast, and your FynScore Resilience signal send the relevant parts of your data to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. We do not sell your data, and it is not used to train third-party models.

Your choices

• Export — download all your data anytime from Settings.
• Delete — delete your account and data from Settings; this is permanent.
